More about Chateau de la Font du Loup:
The Melia family bought the property in 1942. From 1977 Charles Melia was running the domain. Today his daughter Anne Charlotte Melia-Bachas and son-in-law Laurent Bachas are in charge.
The name "Source of the Wolves" refers to sources in the fields where the wolves from Mont Ventoux went to have water - according to local story telling.

Chateauneuf du Pape is made from 20 ha. The vines have an average age of 60 years and one parcel 100 years.
Even if the vineyards are all situated around the domain divided by wood the parcels have different terroirs.
The vineyards are cultivated organic but not certified AB.
